Complete platform for the Principality of Asturias

With the goal of boosting its digital strategy and the use of artificial intelligence (AI), the Principality of Asturias relied on LIS Data to make it a reality.

The challenge. The starting situation was a decentralized and manual model, where each municipality maintained its records in different ways and the data did not match, was inconsistent, and difficult to trace.

Our solution. LISDATA developed a comprehensive web application that acts as a central integration node between municipal records, the General Directorate of Cadastre, and the INE.

Technical execution. An ETL module was developed to import, transform, clean, and load the census data for each council, along with a query module featuring artificial intelligence and an interactive cartographic visualization module. Fuzzy matching techniques and natural language processing were used for this purpose.

Results and KPIs. The platform allows for the processing of more than one million records across individuals, households, and dwellings. Reduction in manual review work thanks to real-time monitoring of each case and mass automatic resolution. It complies with the technical format required by the INE, ensuring the full legal validity of the documentation.

Digitization of quality audits for a vehicle manufacturer

An international vehicle manufacturer chose us not to replace a tool that the team already masters, but to intervene in it, improve it, guide the user, and prepare the data for processing.

The challenge. The quality department performed vehicle audits using spreadsheets that were not very accessible to line workers, which hindered communication and collaboration with quality managers and made task management inefficient.

Our solution. A digital quality control module was created to streamline communication between the quality and production departments. For this, an accessible web application was developed that can be consulted by all parties involved, allowing for the centralization of all task phases and statuses without altering the processes and information the plant already handled.

Technical execution. The solution was developed in FastAPI on Python, connecting a PostgreSQL database and a frontend in React and Tailwind CSS adapted to the needs of each user profile. Keycloak was used for role and access management, along with an API Manager to control, protect, and monitor the APIs exposed by the backend.

Results and KPIs. Better communication and coordination between departments. Standardization of information through defined formats within the platform. Less time spent by managers by eliminating manual processes. Reduction in the probability of alterations or errors thanks to digitization.
