LISDATA leads innovation in agentic AI with the GalaxIA project

At LISDATA, we have an innovative spirit that drives us to always be at the forefront, so we are proud to be part of the consortium with which we will work on the development of GalaxIA within the HAZITEK 2025 call, a program supporting business RD from the Basque Government.

What is GalaxIA?

The project was created with the aim of researching and developing a technological solution based on agentic AI. Unlike traditional generative AI, which reacts to user inputs, GalaxIA’s AI agents will be able to collaborate with each other in what we call a “constellation”. These systems will be able to orchestrate actions, plan strategies, and execute complex processes autonomously and proactively, without the need for constant human intervention.

Our role in the consortium

As one of the key technological partners, our work focuses on:

• Research into communication and orchestration strategies: We design the mechanisms that allow agents to discover, authenticate, and collaborate in an interoperable and secure manner.
• Integration into data spaces: We work to ensure that agents can access and operate on external data from multiple domains, always respecting data sovereignty and governance.
• Development of industrial solutions: We contribute our knowledge in advanced analytics to transform traditional services into agent-based architectures, improving the operational efficiency of Basque companies.

A real impact on the Basque industry

GalaxIA seeks not only a theoretical advancement but also practical validation in sectors such as distribution, energy, machine tools, and the socio-health field. Through the paradigm of the Internet of Agents (IoA), the project will allow companies to automate complex cognitive tasks and create new hyper-personalized business models.

This project aligns with European digitalization strategies and the Euskadi 2030 Science, Technology, and Innovation Plan (PCTI), positioning our region at the forefront of artificial intelligence.
