LISDATA Gathers Business Leaders in Madrid to Address AI Challenges in Organizations

The fourth edition of LIS Executive Series focuses on cybersecurity, AI agents applied to BI, cultural change, and thematic networking spaces on data governance, automation, and organizational transformation.

Madrid has hosted a new edition of LIS Executive Series, the event promoted by LISDATA to provide companies with a practical vision of artificial intelligence, automation, and organizational transformation.

Under the theme “Zero Kilometer of Change”, the fourth edition brought together executives, managers from various areas, and companies from diverse sectors for a day hosted at MIOTI Tech & Business School. The event focused on exchanging experiences, applied learning, and connecting professionals. The agenda combined specialized presentations, thematic networking spaces, and an approach aimed at grounding innovation in business reality.

The day featured three presentations focusing on some of the major challenges organizations face today. First, Emilio Rico Ruiz, Security Advisor at Grupo TRC, addressed the relationship between artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data governance. During his speech, he argued that the current challenge is no longer deciding whether to incorporate AI, but rather determining if companies are truly prepared to incorporate it with guarantees. His message emphasized that data quality and a solid governance model are fundamental for artificial intelligence to generate business value.

Next, Román Martín Llera, Commercial Director at LISDATA, presented a practical case study focused on the use of AI agents applied to Business Intelligence. Specifically, this involves aisQ BI Agent, a new implementation of the aisQ AGENT platform. The demo showed how a user can directly query their data in natural language, obtain responses in visual format, and build dashboards much more efficiently. This proposal aims to bring analytics closer to business, reduce information access times, and strengthen team autonomy in decision-making.

The third presentation, by Edurne del Arco (Talent Area Coordinator at ACIM – Madrid Metal Companies Association), delved into the less visible component of technological transformation. Her presentation highlighted that many AI initiatives fail not due to technology, but due to human, cultural, and pedagogical factors. Among the key points presented, she emphasized the need to accompany change with leadership, continuous learning, and redesigning the work context, rather than limiting transformation to tool implementation.

Alongside the interventions, LIS Executive Series dedicated a central space to thematic networking tables facilitated by the LISDATA team, designed to foster closer and more useful conversations between professionals and attendees. In this edition, discussions revolved around Data Governance, LLM, RPA & IPA, Data Warehouse & Data Space, and Cultural Change, reinforcing the practical and participatory nature of the event.

With this new edition, LISDATA reinforces its commitment to generating innovation spaces where companies and leaders can share vision, compare experiences, and advance towards a more useful, secure, and realistic application of AI in their organizations. As highlighted during the event, true impact depends not only on available technology but also on data quality, governance, judgment, cultural change management, and the support of a good technological partner.
