aisQ AGENT, the AI agent platform tailored for the education sector

Artificial intelligence has become one of the great allies for businesses, and the education sector is no exception. By offering new ways to teach, learn, and manage knowledge, its ability to reduce repetitive tasks to a minimum allows teachers to focus on what really matters: supporting students and developing their skills. Furthermore, its application in the classroom is leading to more dynamic, participatory experiences tailored to each student’s pace.

However, incorporating AI into education must be done with judgment and rigor: it is essential to guarantee the reliability of the responses, transparency of sources, and active oversight by teachers so that this technology becomes a true support for learning. Guided by this principle of rigor and teacher oversight, aisQ AGENT was born—the AI agent platform developed by LISDATA that has already launched, with its education-focused version, at the first school in Spain.

A platform tailored for the classroom, built together with teachers

The CIFP Número Uno de Santander was the first to implement this customized version of aisQ AGENT in a real educational setting. This center, a benchmark for vocational training in Cantabria, faced a challenge common to technical education: managing a large volume of specialized documentation—manuals, practical guides, and regulations—written in highly technical language. For students just becoming familiar with this content, accessing and understanding that information poses a significant barrier.

To address this need, aisQ AGENT was deployed as a “smart super-search engine” capable of finding, summarizing, and explaining information drawn exclusively from the documents provided by the school. Each response generated is traced and referenced back to the original document, indicating the exact section it comes from. This way, students receive clear, accurate explanations, and teachers ensure the reliability and rigor of every interaction with the AI thanks to their oversight.

“This project was built with the guidance and support of the school’s teachers and management. AI is a tool that is already being used in the classroom, but a customizable platform with professional oversight is far more effective than any generic chatbot found online,” says José Ramón Blanco, project manager of the R&D&I team at LISDATA.

Active learning and personalized assessment

The project at the vocational school also aimed to improve students’ study experience. Using documentary content validated by teachers, aisQ AGENT can generate personalized tests and activities tailored to different paces and levels.

Students can retake quizzes as many times as they need, and the system provides detailed feedback: it explains what was answered incorrectly, why, and points back to the exact section of the document where the concept is covered. If recurring errors are detected, the platform automatically generates new questions focused on those difficulties, reinforcing learning on an individual basis.

For their part, teachers always remain in control: they can review, edit, add, or remove questions, and design customized learning paths. AI acts as an ally, not a replacement for teachers’ professional judgment.

Technology with an educational purpose

The use of aisQ AGENT at CIFP Número Uno has not only improved the educational experience at the school, but has also helped refine the platform itself. Ongoing interaction with teachers has been key to evolving the product and ensuring it meets the real needs of the classroom.

This project marks a milestone in the adoption of artificial intelligence in formal education in Spain: a transparent, traceable, and pedagogically responsible AI designed to free up time, foster meaningful learning, and support both teachers and students in their daily work. Educational technology is only truly innovative when it adds value, supports, and improves what already works. That is precisely where aisQ AGENT excels: reinforcing teachers’ commitment to their students’ learning.
